The Artist
Johnny "r3v3rend" Rigsbee johnny@aeongelioncomics.com
Johnny Rigsbee started his career in art.. Okay he never really started a career at all, he just found a natural propensity to doodle all the time. When in class, while everyone was copying down mathematic tables and memorizing historical facts, Johnny would sketch, or sleep. Whichever won.
After several unsuccessful attempts at webcomic start ups, he finally found a webcomic that he really wishes to commit to and hopefully develop into something big. Also he really just wants to go to Comicon.
He currently resides in Fayetteville, NC and is an Army officer stationed in Fort Bragg. While here he hopes to find other webcomic artists in the Fayetteville, NC region and possibly create an army.. or something.

The Story
Divine Wrath is a comedy based webcomic that revolves around the life of main character, Johnny, his wife, Nika, and his German Shepherd Max. The story begins when Johnny accidentally summons a lesser demon, Deemos, from the abyss through his fireplace.
Although Johnny successfully summoned the lesser demon, he has no idea how to return him.
But, even as Johnny tries to figure out how to send Deemos back, the little demon has no desire to return to the abyss.
Deemos is a reliquary for a greater demon, and as such acts as a storage vessel for his master's demonic energies. A visual indicator of a higher level demon's potential power is their horn size. Which explains the disproportion between Deemos' body and horn size. Also, because Deemos is a reliquary, he is a creation rather then a true born demon, and has no real inclination towards evil.
Divine Wrath is just beginning, so for now, this short description is all that can be provided. |
The Writer
JJ "T4nk" Brice jjbrice@aeongelioncomics.com
JJ Brice is in graduate school at the University at Buffalo-State University of New York, pursuing an advanced degree in Nameology so that abominations like the current name of his institution are not a part of our grandchildrens’ lives. In all seriousness, he is pursuing a Master’s in Higher Education-Student Affairs. You may be asking which degree is the joke, and to that he would respond with a pointed finger and stern face.
JJ is a rookie writer in the world of web-comics, but is a veteran in the Johnny Rigsbee art fan club. JJ has a beautifully preserved a dry-erase board drawing of a bear that Rigsbee created in 2004 in the hopes that it will someday be a valuable collector’s item, so that he may retire to a wealthy life of constant paintball action.
A current resident of Amherst, NY, JJ is a starting Offensive Tackle on the Lockport Rage semi-pro football team, and is spending the summer recouping from the academic year and writing for this wonderful web-comic.
